My painting is the way that give me the possibility to investigate in my inner side, to do a continuous research and growth to understand life and to improve the relationship with it.

In my paintings I express my feelings, from sorrow to injuries to conquests.

My painting is the way that give me the possibility to understand, to investigate and  to analyse my being, to talk first of all, with my self and also with the others( persons), because the others can find something of their lives in what I lived, and so they can understand which is my relationship with life and this can become a starting point (or a cue) for the viewer because “it” (or he) can reflect about its own relationship with life and things .

So the viewer can compare  and relate himself with the others, and he can find his own conclusions, i mean that the viewer has the chance to “talk” with my “works of art – opinions – ideas” and he can compare his own ideas with mine , finding different solution that is the result of his initial opinion plus the one suggested by my works.

 This different new solution  born is a third one , of course a new point of view , not mine , not his, but a new one like H2O(water) that the result of the union of two different elements.

 

..................at last i went to The Tate Modern, and i was surprised to have  found a strong similarity with Frank Auerbach(never seen before).In the moment in which i came in the room of Auerbach it seemed to me such as to come in in a room of my old works.

I feel my self close to him particularly in my paintings from 1992 to 1998.

 

 I found also a similarity with him 

1) for the way he prepares his works:he sketchs some ideas before to paint a canvas; 

2) also when he comes back on the work of art till it is finished, i mean and he means, when we can't add anything more.

3) I am close to him also for the use of colours and 

4) for the way he gives the stroke of the brush, 

5) also in the way he manages the space and also 

6) because i havethe same vision about space.

7) Auerbach's matter is the same for me, same density. 

8) At i am close to him also for the way "To live shapes"

 

After i knew Rothko, some years ago, i understood to have always felt in my self the same feeling of Rothko. And now i am closer to him than Auerbach  because today i  use  a different matter despite  the one of some years ago and most of all i am close to Rothko for his spirituality. Now my stroke of brush is different.
